Marseille-based trumpet player Christophe LeLoiL presents his brand new project OpenMindeD recorded by the label ONDE and produced by Arts & Musiques en Provence.

After many years working and touring with jazz masters such as Archie Shepp, Dédé Ceccarelli, Peter King and Don Moye, LeLoil has composed his 4th album as a leader shows LeLoiL composing for an extended quartet.

Featuring unparalleled guitar sounds from Andrew Sudhibhasilp, strong bass lines by Pierre Fenichel, and the accurate Cedrick Bec's rigorsously skillful drums, leading the band into its intricate changes and grooves oscillate between modern jazz and folk. manners The album also showcases the delicate voice and the inspired texts of Chicago-born Julia Minkin.
